The Q-Obstruction Light Medium Intensity 20.000 cd is a ICAO compliance 20.000 cd White obstruction light. The Q-Obstruction Light Medium Intensity 20.000 cd Light comes with a photocell to automatically switch the light from daytime operation to night time operation.

An omni-directional low intensity steady red obstruction light is fitted to the highest point of the installation. The light conforms to the specifications for a low intensity obstacle light having a minimum intensity of 50 cd for angles of elevation between 0 and 15 degrees, and a minimum intensity of 200 cd between 5 and 8 degrees. Where it is not practicable to fit a light to the highest point of the installation (e.g. on top of flare towers) the light is fitted as near to the extremity as possible.
